MEXICO CITY – Max Griffin ’s punches brought a quick end to his second UFC appearance. Griffin’s (13-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) straight right caught Erick Montano (7-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC) flush, sending him headfirst into a heap before more shots forced referee intervention in the first. The welterweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 98 event at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City. It aired on FS1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FS1.
