Bobby Moffett proved a durable challenge for RFA featherweight champion Raoni Barcelos . But even a last-minute point deduction wasn’t enough to erase the Brazilian’s lead on scorecards. Barcelos stuffed Moffett’s takedown attempts and repaid him with well-placed combinations to take home a unanimous decision, earning 48-46 scorecards to retain his belt in the headliner of RFA 39, an event whose stifling indoor temperatures gave fighters extra challenges. Indiana’s Hammond Civic Center left combatants slicked in sweat after a few minutes of fighting on the AXS TV main card, but Barcelos didn’t need any help keeping Moffett away. Expertly cut angles kept him from giving too much ground as the challenger tried to punch his way in. Moffett accepted a steady dose of counters to get inside in the second frame and put a round in his corner
