At UFC 247, Journey Newson added another win to his record – but it’s since been taken away. UFC 247 took place Saturday, Feb. 8 at Toyota Center in Houston. According to a document posted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration , Newson’s first-round knockout of Domingo Pilarte has been overturned to a “no decision,” also referred to as a “no contest” by some commissions. While no reasoning was listed in the official documentation, ESPN reported Wednesday a failed drug test is responsible for the overturned decision.
