The feared striker seemed to have a win and his first major title in the bag after 24 minutes on Friday at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho. But after his Spike-televised main event, Manhoef (30-13 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) watched Carvalho (13-1 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) retain his title with a controversial split-decision win.
