Dariush’s longtime teammate, Rafael dos Anjos , is the current UFC titleholder at 155 pounds, making his rise up the ranks an awkward one because the two don’t want to fight each other. Things could get even more interesting if Dariush (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) is able to get past Michael Johnson (16-8 MMA, 8-4 UFC), who’s ranked No. 10 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA lightweight rankings , on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 73 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. But there’s a workaround the No. 15-ranked Dariush outlined during an open workout in support of the event
