In this case, it was Eduardo Dantas (18-4 MMA, 8-2 BMMA) who reigned supreme in the one-sided bout, and it earned him Bellator’s bantamweight title – and a 2-0 series lead over his former teacher – against now-ex-champ Marcos Galvao (17-7-1 MMA, 7-4 BMMA). The fight headlined Friday’s Bellator 156 event at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. The main card aired on Spike following prelims on MMAjunkie.
