The fight card took place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Preliminary-card fights aired live on FOX Sports and UFC Fight Pass. After three rounds, Pennington lost a split decision to Holly Holm , who remains undefeated and could be on the short list to face champ Ronda Rousey , who needed just 14 seconds to armbar challenger Cat Zingano .
