Stipe Miocic After a record-setting night of finishes during the UFC’s previous event in Australia, UFC Fight Night 65 turned out to be a worthy encore and produced 10 stoppages in 12 fights at Adelaide Entertainment Center. A first-round knockout opened Saturday’s card, but Stipe Miocic (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) closed it out with a drawn-own beatdown of Mark Hunt (10-10-1 MMA, 5-4-1 UFC) in the heavyweight main event. It was a noncompetitive bout in which Miocic battered Hunt with a record amount of strikes before the referee stepped in to award the TKO win in Round 5. Miocic wasn’t the only one to make history in Adelaide, though.
