Despite the overwhelming hometown support – or possibly because of it – Miocic (16-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) would prefer to fight away from his fellow Clevelanders, he said at the post-fight press conference. The title fight headlined the UFC 203 event at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
