SACRAMENTO – Cody McKenzie pretty much fought like a guy who would show up to a UFC fight wearing generic shorts with pockets and the tags still attached. In one of his flattest performances to date, McKenzie (14-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC) suffered a lopsided unanimous-decision loss to fellow lightweight Sam Stout (20-9-1 MA, 9-8 UFC) at tonight’s UFC on FOX 9 event. McKenzie, competing in a FOX Sports 1-televised preliminary-card bout, had no answer for Stout’s attacks, including some jarring body shots. Despite the beatdown, though, it was hard to pull viewers’ attention away from his McKenzie’s bizarre choice of attire.
