As one of the most dominant champs in UFC history, does he deserve some input into who stands across from him in the octagon? Jones, of course, wants an opportunity to face undefeated former Strikeforce grand prix champion Daniel Cormier , a former Olympic wrestler who has openly campaigned to face “Bones.” Meanwhile, UFC officials have deemed Alexander Gustafsson  the current No. 1 contender in the division and have targeted a rematch of the pair’s legendary 2012 affair in the headlining bout of August’s UFC 177 event.
