Shane Carwin, 41, Probing Possible UFC Return Former interim UFC heavyweight champion Shane Carwin has contacted the UFC about a possible return to the Octagon. Carwin tweeted late Tuesday night that he had his management contact UFC matchmaker Joe Silva, indicating that he was ready to fight again. He also posted in The Underground MMA forum, saying, “I had management let the UFC know I am considering a return and looking into what goes into that.
