Carlos Prates completed one of the great rookie years in recent octagon history Saturday when he knocked out longtime contender Neil Magny in the UFC Fight Night 247 main event. Prates (21-6 MMA, 4-0 UFC) made it four fights, four wins, four knockouts and four Performance of the Night bonuses since his promotional debut in February when he halted Magny (29-13 MMA, 22-12 UFC) with strikes in the opening round of the welterweight headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. After the victory, Prates got on the microphone and dropped Jack Della Maddalena and Geoff Neal as opponents of interest for him at 170 pounds, but is that realistic?
