Sean O’Malley ’s case with the Nevada Athletic Commission will have to wait. The commission on Wednesday voted unanimously to extend a temporary suspension for the UFC bantamweight star, who came back positive for traces of ostarine following a May 25 urine sample conducted by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). O’Malley was temporarily suspended on July 1 following a formal hearing into the matter. The commission has already filed a complaint against the fighter, which is separate from the discipline he already faces from USADA. O’Malley’s case is likely to be heard at the next commission meeting, which currently is unscheduled, though the timing is fluid.
