The Olympic silver medalist in women’s freestyle wrestling was caught by a knee to the body from then-champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 170 and lost the fight at the 1:06 mark of Round 1. Now, with Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) dropping the title after being knocked out by Holly Holm (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) at UFC 193, McMann is hoping that another crack at the belt could be in her future. “For my career, it’s really good because it’s a lot harder to get a rematch,” McMann told MMAjunkie while in attendance at this past Saturday’s UFC on FOX 17 event in Orlando.
