“I don’t think I can ever look at anyone the same ever again after they do that.” That’s how UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey responded when asked about Anderson Silva ’s recent drug-testing failures. Rousey (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) is currently gearing up for a Feb. 28 pay-per-view headliner with Cat Zingano (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC). Prior to the fight, which takes place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, Rousey held a media day for reporters and photographers, and she held a brief Q&A session. One of the topics of conversation was the UFC’s new drug-testing initiative , which the organization unveiled earlier this week, and more specifically, Silva. The former MMA pound-for-pound kingpin will soon face a Nevada State Athletic Commission hearing in the wake of his drug-testing failures for both performance-enhancing drugs and benzodiazepines
