ESPN released the 2015 ESPY nominations on Wednesday and the UFC has two fighters among this year’s list of world-class athletes. Second-ranked lightweight Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was nominated in one category, while women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is up for two awards. Cerrone and Rousey are among the fighters chosen in the “Best Fighter” category along with WBO and IBA light welterweight champion Terence Crawford and undefeated boxers Floyd Mayweather and Gennady Golovkin. Cerrone (28-6, 1 NC) is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak. Cowboy is expected to vie for the UFC lightweight title against champion Rafael dos Anjos in his next outing later this year.
