Robert Whittaker ‘doubled down’ on health for Israel Adesanya fight, says ring rust won’t be factor

UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will return from the longest layoff of his career next week to face Israel Adesanya in the UFC 243 headliner. Whittaker (20-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC), who hasn’t fought in more than a year, more than a year, will unify the title with interim titleholder Adesanya (17-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) in a highly anticipated bout.
