Korean promotion Road FC is headed to Japan for the first time next month with a card in Tokyo that will be stacked with several Pride veterans including Hong Man Choi, Mu Bae Choi, Daiju Takase, and Ikuhisa Minowa . Road FC 24 is booked for the Ariake Coliseum on July 25. It will be headlined by a fight between UFC veteran Riki Fukuda (22-7-0-1) and up-and-coming Korean Uh Jin Jeon (3-2) with the organization’s vacant 185-pound title on the line. The co-main event sees one of the most recognizable Korean fighters return to the sport after a six-year absence, as the 7-foot-2-inch Hong Man Choi (3-2) takes on Carlos Toyota (5-6) in a contest that could see the Brazilian Japanese middleweight outweighed by the best part of 200 pounds. For fans of the Pride era, there is plenty of intrigue on this card.
