Next month’s RIZIN FF card in Japan continues to grow with the addition of three women’s fights to the lineup. The promotion also announced five fighters for its open-weight tournament, which already is flanked by the likes of Croatian kickboxing legend Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Brazilian superstar Wanderlei Silva. Gabi Garcia (2-0) will fight Destanie Yarbrough (1-0) in a women’s heavyweight bout on the card; Kanako Murata (3-0) is set to meet Kyra Batara (5-3) at strawweight; and Rena Kubota (1-0) will fight the debuting Miyuu Yamamoto (0-0). The 16-man open-weight tournament now will include heavyweights Jiri Prochazka (17-3-1) and Amir Aliakbari (2-0) and light heavyweights Teodorasu Aukstuolis (9-3), Karl Albrektsson (5-0) and Valentine Moldavski (3-0).
