While 2014 had its ups and downs, Bellator welterweight Ricky “Sniper” Rainey was able to end the year on a high note with a TKO win over Johnny Cisneros in just over three minutes in October. For Rainey, coming back with a win after suffering a first-round TKO loss to Michael Page in May was a big help not only for his career, but for his mindset as well. “That was a big win for me,” Rainey said of his defeat of Cisneros. “Even dealing with the loss before (to Page), it messed with my mind, but it was a very high-level fighter I went against. It was good to get back on track and get my focus back.” Though it’s been eight months since the win over Cisneros, Rainey has kept busy, right from the get-go.
