It appears the state of Hawaii will have some more representation when the UFC returns to Brazil in June. Yancy Medeiros (13-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) recently told Hawaii’s KHON-TV that he has been booked for a featherweight fight at UFC 212 against Brazil’s Erick Silva (19-7 MMA, 7-6 UFC). UFC officials have not yet made a formal announcement of the bout, though Medeiros tweeted out the date , but not opponent, to his followers.
