Russian President Vladimir Putin has paid his respects to the Nurmagomedov family. According to a report by RT Sport on Friday, the Russian president called UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov to offer his “deepest condolences” after the death of Khabib’s father , Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. Per the report, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced Putin had reached out to Khabib in an effort to console him on the death of his father.
