Former UFC welterweight champ Johny Hendricks , though, is making it work. Hendricks (16-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) meets fellow contender Matt Brown (19-12 MMA, 12-7 UFC) on Saturday’s UFC 185 main card, which airs on pay-per-view from American Airlines Center in Dallas. Hendricks, who’s had some previous close calls making weight, is not working with weight-cutting consultant Mike Dolce for this camp. Additionally, he recently opened Bigg Riggs Steakhouse , a Texas eatery that features a menu that’s mostly off-limits during fight camps. However, the 31-year-old appears to be in phenomenal shape for this weekend’s pivotal bout.
