Even if he hadn’t secured the victory via fifth-round TKO, T.J. Dillashaw was in a safe position to win Saturday’s UFC 173 headliner. A quick look at the scorecards shows that heading into the final round, the new UFC bantamweight champion was up 4-0 on two scorecards and 3-1 on the other. Check them out above. In UFC 173′s pay-per-view headliner at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, Dillashaw (10-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) dominated the previously dominant Barao (32-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and pulled off a significant upset with a career-defining performance. While both Derek Cleary and Tony Weeks had Dillashaw pitching a shutout (40-36) heading into the final frame, Chris Lee had given Barao the second round (with Barao up 39-37)
