It was the biggest upset on this past Saturday’s TUF Brazil 3 Finale card, but a broken hand appeared to play a part. Soon after losing to underdog Robert Peralta (18-4 MMA, 4-1 UFC) in the night’s first FOX Sports 1-televised bout at Sao Paulo’s Ibirapuera Gymnasium, 3-1 favorite Rony Jason (14-5 MMA, 4-2 UFC) posted a few photos showing a broken hand. Jason, who suffered a split-decision loss (via peculiar scores of 29-28, 27-30, 30-27) in the featherweight bout, said he broke his left hand in the first round of the bout. (Watch the Peralta vs
