Heavyweight Josh Copeland ’s PFL career is on pause after he reportedly punched his wife in an alleged domestic violence incident on Feb 2. “The PFL has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence,” read a statement released to MMAjunkie by PFL spokesperson Greg Savage. “Per our company policy, following his arrest, Josh Copeland has been suspended indefinitely.” Savage did not elaborate on the terms of Copeland’s suspension. Reached for comment, Copeland’s manager, Brian Butler of SuckerPunch Entertainment, said in a text message “there is an ongoing investigation and until we have all the facts we can’t comment.” Copeland, 36, has been charged with second-degree assault, obstruction and child abuse after police found the fighter’s wife with a bruised eye and blood down her face, according to TMZ.com .
