It seems that UFC 280 might be the “it” card of the year. With two title fights already confirmed for the event, a three-rounder with title implications has just joined the card. According to Sean O’Malley, who appeared on DC & RC on Wednesday, he’ll be fighting former champion Petr Yan, joining the reigning champion Aljamain Sterling who will look to defend the title he took from Yan when he fights TJ Dillashaw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TaJYSC1mHo The fight will be the first non-title fight for Yan who lost his title due to a controversial DQ after illegally kneeing Sterling in the final moments of their fight. The belt went to Aljamain via default, despite Yan clearly on his way to a dominant decision win.
