Paulie Malignaggi is the latest high-profile fighter to go bare-knuckle. Bare Knuckle FC announced Thursday that the former multi-division boxing champion and current Showtime commentator has signed an exclusive deal. Malignaggi, 38, is expected to make his debut in June and could wind up facing Artem Lobov if the former UFC slugger wins his promotional debut against Jason Knight next month, according to boxing reporter Helen Yee . “At this time in our company’s growth, we needed to add a legitimate and well-established world champion boxer to our roster, and I believe with Paulie’s ability and personality we’ve done just that,” BKFC founder and president David Feldma said in a press release. “Paulie is the perfect fit for us.” Malignaggi retired from boxing in March 2017.
