Filed under: News , UFC , Videos A staph infection has forced Patrick Cummins out of next week’s UFC Fight Night 102 event, the fighter today announced. Cummins (8-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC), who was on a 3-1 run before recent knockout losses to Glover Teixeira and Atonio Rogerio Nogueira, was slated to fight fellow light heavyweight Gian Villante (14-7 MMA, 4-4 UFC) on the event’s main card. Cummins told MMAFighting.com he’s been on antibiotics “all week.” UFC Fight Night 102 takes place Dec. 9 at Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. The entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn’t been finalized.
