The Singapore-based ONE Championship MMA promotion is getting an influx of cash to aid its expansion in Asia, including the potentially lucrative market of China. On Tuesday the five-year-old promotion announced it’s “entered into definitive agreements with a consortium-led by Heliconia Capital Management,” an investment company owned by the government of Singapore. The deal results in a “significant eight-figure sum” being invested in the MMA promotion, according to Yahoo! Sports
