Xiong (16-1) stopped challenger Samara Santos (12-6-1) with a third-round TKO to retain the 115-pound belt in the ONE Championship 79 main event. China’s Xiong put Santos down with a right hand, then finished her off to thrill her home fans. “ONE Championship 79: Beyond the Horizon” took place at Baoshan Arena in Shanghai.
