Almost two-and-a-half years after a failed title bid against Bibiano Fernandes, Kevin Belingon has earned a rematch. This time, though, Belingon will also enter the bout as a champion. Throughout five rounds of all-striking action, Belingon (19-5) stuffed takedowns, worked around the reach disparity, threw shots with intent and was ultimately rewarded for his aggression against Martin Nguyen (11-3) in the main event of today’s “One Championship 78: Reign of Kings.” After taking the nod on all of the judges’ scorecards, Belingon is now the new interim bantamweight champion
