Former ONE Championship flyweight champion Adriano Moraes apparently wasn’t too thrilled when his interim title fight with Andrew Leone was canceled. “We promoted that fight,” Moraes told MMAjunkie. “I had been looking forward to facing him in our organization. But he ended up with a back injury, so he was removed from our fight last week, being replaced by Tilek Batyrov.” That the bout was short notice wasn’t a great enticement, of course. But for Moraes, it was also his opponent’s last name that brought worry.
