When he met Beneil Dariush, he dropped a decision in October 2014, and that was followed by a knockout loss to Dustin Poirier – the first time he had been finished in his career. But today, 10 months after his most recent setback, Ferreira is hoping to jumpstart things. Ferreira (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) takes on Olivier Aubin-Mercier (7-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in a lightweight bout at UFC on FOX 18, which takes place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
