Vitaly Minakov This weekend, UFC Fight Pass subscribers might notice a familiar face – Bellator heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov . The 30-year-old Minakov (15-0) faces Geronimo dos Santos (36-15) on home soil for “EFN: Dagestan,” which takes place Friday at Ali Aliev Sports Arena in Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia, and streams live on the UFC’s online network (1 p.m. ET). It’s not the first time Minakov has fought under a different banner; in July, he dispatched a foe in 20 seconds in a promoter based in Sochi. But it’s the first time he’s done so on the Internet platform of Bellator’s chief competitor
