UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis said his desire to fight featherweight titleholder Jose Aldo is “nothing personal,” and he’s willing to meet the Brazilian at any weight. Although Pettis (17-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is recovering from a knee injury and hasn’t yet defended the belt he won from Benson Henderson this past August, UFC President Dana White mentioned the possibility of the champion-vs.-champion matchup after Aldo’s latest victory.
