Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos In a night featuring a pair of main-event upsets that pushed most other UFC 196 performances out of the spotlight, Nordine Taleb ’s knockout of Erick Silva still managed to stand out. Taleb (12-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) caught a kick from Silva (18-7 MMA, 6-6 UFC) and landed a perfect counter shot that left the Brazilian face down on the canvas for the stoppage at the 1:34 mark of Round 2. Silva landed a heavy leg kick during the bout, however, and it appeared to hurt Taleb both during and after the bout.
