TAMPA, Fla. – All the pre-fight drama ahead of UFC on ESPN+ 19 was rendered meaningless at the official weigh-ins Friday. Former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk (15-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) and fellow contender Michelle Waterson (17-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC) made weight for Saturday’s headliner, and both came in under the 116-pound limit for a non-title bout. There was concern earlier in the week that Jedrzejczyk wouldn’t hit the mark for the fight, but she weighed in less than 20 minutes into the two-hour weigh-ins window at the host hotel, and the fight will proceed as contracted.
