UFC middleweight Nick Catone is calling it quits. After having amassed a 10-4 record, Catone recently suffered a back injury that has forced him out of his scheduled UFC on FOX 15 bout with Vitor Miranda. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back, quite literally, according to a report on UFC.com on Wednesday. The back injury, in addition to numerous past health issues, led Catone to not only back out of the April 18 bout, but also to announce his retirement. “In the last couple years I’ve had a lot of injuries,” Catone told UFC.com’s Thomas Gerbasi . He’s had other problems, including his Achilles, anterior cruciate ligament, and tendon injuries, but Catone said it has primarily been his back trouble that forced him to go the retirement route
