Included in Jackson’s deal was a 2013 Tesla Sport worth $129,603 and a $200,000 check paid to the fighter when the promotion’s lone pay-per-view event fell short of expectations in pay-per-view sales. Bellator is asking the court to block “Rampage” (35-11 MMA, 7-5 UFC) from fighting Fabio Maldonado (22-7 MMA, 5-4 UFC) next month at UFC 186. A hearing is scheduled for April 2 in Superior Court in Burlington County, N.J., where the suit was filed Monday.
