Jonathan Jones Pleads Guilty in Felony Hit and Run Case Albuquerque, NM – From the ring to the courtroom, MMA Champion fighter Jon “Bones” Jones was back in court today, this time entering a guilty plea for a felony hit and run. The April, 2015 incident occurred at the intersection of Juan Tabo and Southern Boulevard. Police say Jones, who was driving a rented SUV, ran a red light, slammed into another vehicle, and then fled on foot. A pregnant woman suffered an injured wrist as a result of the crash. Although Jones fled the scene, he was identified by an off duty police officer who happened upon the crash. Additionally, police found insurance information inside of the vehicle with Jones’ name, as well as some sports memorabilia
