LONDON – After calling out Rory MacDonald in the cage after the Bellator 200 main event, Gegard Mousasi picked up where he left off when he got backstage to talk to the media after claiming the middleweight title. Mousasi (44-6-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) steamrolled Rafael Carvalho (15-2 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) for a first-round TKO to claim Bellator’s 185-pound belt in Friday’s Bellator 200 headliner, which took place at The SSE Arena in London and aired on Paramount via tape-delay. Afterward, he wasted no time calling out MacDonald (20-4 MMA, 2-0 BMMA), who is the promotion’s welterweight champ.
