Joel Embiid, a center for the Philadelphia 76ers, had his first in-person interaction with UFC heavyweight title challenger Francis Ngannou . The pair met prior to today’s 76ers practice. The team is in the city for a game tonight against the Boston Celtics. Ngannou (11-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) is in Boston for Saturday’s championship showdown with Stipe Miocic (17-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC), which headlines UFC 220 at TD Garden.
