AUSTIN, Texas – Natalia Silva ’s UFC debut was a long time coming, but it likely was worth the wait. Silva (13-5-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) outworked Jasmine Jasudavicius (7-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) for a unanimous decision sweep of the scorecards Saturday at UFC on ESPN 37 in Austin, Texas. The scores included a 10-8 round from one of the judges. Silva was supposed to debut in the UFC in early 2021, but had to pull out of the fight. Saturday, nearly 18 months later, she finally got to make the UFC walk for the first time, and the former Jungle Fight women’s flyweight champ impressed with an upset win. For what Silva had to say about her win over Jasudavicius and what she wants next, check out the full interview in the video above.
