Two fighters who competed on this past season of Dana White’s Contender Series have been suspended for their use of banned substances in connection with their bouts. On Monday, the Nevada Athletic Commission unanimously voted to suspend heavyweight Lukasz Brzeski and bantamweight Muin Gafurov . Brzeski, 29, earned a UFC contract on Sept. 14 after he submitted Dylan Potter with a third-round rear-naked choke . As a result of his positive drug test for clomiphene, a hormone medication used to treat infertility in women, Brzeski (8-1-1) was suspended nine months and fined $750.
