It’s time to take a moment to acknowledge Jonathan Pearce ’s 2022 before the page is turned and the new schedule of fights for 2023 gets underway. The UFC featherweight didn’t win a championship belt, didn’t headline a UFC event, didn’t enter the UFC’s official rankings in 2022 – heck, he didn’t even break 10,000 followers on Instagram. But that doesn’t take away the fact Pearce (14-4 MMA, 5-1 UFC) had a successful year, but more importantly, one that looks to be the beginning of something much bigger.
