Following a loss in his UFC debut in 2012, bantamweight Mitch Gagnon has put things together and is currently riding a three-fight winning streak. In the first two fights of the streak, Gagnon was able to finish Walel Watson and Dustin Kimura, but in his last bout against Tim Gorman in April, he went to a decision for the first time in five years. “It wasn’t one of my better performances, I don’t think,” said Gagnon of the Gorman fight. “I felt flat and you saw it in my game, but being able to go the distance and show the fans and critics that I could go all three rounds and get the win was a positive. “I pride myself on going in there and entertaining, and it wasn’t the most entertaining bout I’ve been in, but overall there are some positives in that fight and that’s what I’m building off of.” Originally, Gagnon (11-2) was to make his return to the UFC this Saturday in Halifax, Canada, against Aljamain Sterling and then later Rob Font, but will now have to face late replacement Roman Salazar (9-2) instead
