When UFC octagon announcer Bruce Buffer read the judges’ scorecards after the UFC Fight Night 73 co-main event between Michael Johnson and Beneil Dariush at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Saturday, the crowd rained down boos of disapproval. Johnson dictated the pace, dropped Dariush in the opening round, and stuffed every takedown attempt that his 26-year-old opponent attempted. Most in attendance and watching at home thought Johnson clearly won the fight, but they were wrong.
