VTJ 7th is set for the Maihama Amphitheatre in Chiba on Sept. 13 and features a couple of big flyweight fights. In the main event, two 125-pound champions from different organizations will collide when King of Pancrase Kiyotaka Shimizu takes on Shooto titleholder Masaaki Sugawara. Shimizu (16-11-3) has been 125-pound King of Pancrase since 2010, although he’s only defended the title six times in five years and is coming off back-to-back defeats
